NV Moet & Chandon Imperial
£ 30.50 Bottle, 1 x 75cl
The name Moet & Chandon really needs no introduction; it’s been one of the leading makers of fine champagne for centuries - perhaps the most famous. Established by Claude Monet in 1743 it’s become the largest house in the region of Champagne. The vineyards of its estate are vast, spanning almost 1,200 hectares (3,000 acres) - half of which are classified as grands cru - and resulting in a potential production output of 60 million bottles annually. The Moet & Chandon collection includes the Imperial Brut and a Grand Vintage range, but one to look out for is the MCIII, which is a multi-vintage assembled wine that was aged in wood, metal, and glass for 10 years.
