About

Nestled along the banks of the beautiful Duero River in Northern Spain and bordered by the country’s most famous winery, Vega Sicilia; Finca Villacreces is often called ‘The Petrus of Spain’ and is one of Ribera Del Duero’s finest wineries. The 60-plus hectares (150 acres) of vines are all farmed organically using natural treatments instead of chemicals and are dominated by plantings of Tempranillo. They are located 700 metres above sea level, with varying soil types including sand, gravel, shingle, and quartz producing wines of unique flavours. Robert Parker described this winery as “the hidden jewel in Ribera del Duero”.
