Founded in the 18th century, the Manor of Chateau Martinet was originally used as a hunting lodge before becoming a wine estate. The structure is known for it's beautiful sandstone foundations, boasting the nickname "The Prince of Sand". One of the winemaker's consultants also operates at Cheval Blanc, the famous Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classe A.
