2008 Paul Clouet Grand Cru

£ 36.00   Bottle, 1 x 75cl

About

Based in Bouzy Grand Cru, in the Montagne de Reims sub-region of Champagne, Paul Clouet owns around 6 hectares (15 acres) of vineyards across two villages. The Pinot Noir used to produce this 2008 vintage was sourced from Bouzy Grand Cru and the Chardonnay from Chouilly Grand Cru, with the winemaking under the leadership of Jean-Etienne Bonnaire. The 2008 vintage in Champagne has been praised as one of the best of the decade. The wine is made at the Champagne Bonnaire winery in Cramant, a relationship that emerged when Jean-Etienne’s father Jean-Louis Bonnaire and mother Marie-Therese Clouet got married in the 1970s.
