1996 Dom Perignon P2 Rose

£ 747.50   Bottle, 1 x 75cl

About

Probably of the most famous name in Champagne, House Dom Perignon has been making exquisite champagne for almost 100 years. The vision behind this house was a young 17th century monk, Father Pierre Perignon, who was a pioneer in the process of blending and perfecting champagne. With access to some of the best vineyards in the whole of Champagne, Dom Perignon now make wines of incredible ageing potential; their P2 and P3 projects are of particular note. Probably the most famous champagne maker of his generation, Richard Geoffrey, recently retired from the helm of Dom Perignon after releasing the 2008 vintage, having been making their wines for 28 years; he was succeeded by Vincent Chaperon in January 2019.
